The City of West has an opening for a full-time Code Enforcement and Permitting Official. The purpose of this position is to enforce ordinances for the City of West.  This is accomplished by monitoring the City for violations, conducting inspections of properties; issuing citations and violations notices and enforces building codes and issuing permits.    

Must posses a valid Texas class C driver’s license and be able to obtain a code enforcement officer license.

Other duties include providing customer service to the public and other departments. 

Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and other times as directed by your supervisor.
